Privacy Policy
Bartenders Knowledge ("BK", "we") is a training app for bartenders and hospitality teams, available as a website and an iOS app. This policy explains what we store, why, and the control you have over it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, job role and the venues you work at, created when your manager invites you (or when you open a personal account).
- Training activity: your test scores, review history and study progress, so the app can schedule revision and show your team dashboard.
- Venue content: drink specs, photos, menus and floor plans added by your venue's managers. Photos you upload are stored so they can be shown on recipe cards.
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, or payment details, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase on EU-resident infrastructure, protected by row-level security so each hospitality company's data is walled from every other. Your password is handled by Supabase Auth and is never visible to us.
How long we keep it
Your account and training history are kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is erased from the live database.
Your rights
- Export: Profile → Privacy & data → Export your data gives you a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Delete: Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account erases your account and personal data.
- You can also exercise any UK/EU GDPR right (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) by emailing us.
